Excellent, tasty cheese. It has a lovely texture and a delicious flavour.
I have bought from Snowdonia a few times and sent as presents as well as buying for myself in every case the service was excellent and the goods dry much appreciated Delicious cheese

Snowdonia Cheese Company's “Amber Mist”, a mature Cheddar with whisky.
This needed no interference or pairing with anything else from me. They've got it absolutely spot on, I contacted the company to ask what whisky they used but all they have told me is that it’s Scotch whisky.
So, not wishing to detract from the sublimity of this combination, I tried it with Innis and Gunn “Original” single malt whisky cask matured Scottish golden beer, it was OK but it didn’t need it, this cheese is perfect as it is, now one of my favourites, (until the next one…..).
Update – It goes very well with 12 Year Old Aberfeldy…
I am becoming an addict as this cheese is delicious. It is crumbly and has a gentle flavour. It is of a moreish quality but it probably should be eaten on special occasions.
